Moreover in this trend, tourists are likely to interact and searching information in Local area during their trip via the uses of Mobile devices including mobile phone and tablets.

การท่องเที่ยวแบบโซโลโม (SoLoMo) เป็นกระแสของการท่องเที่ยวที่นักท่องเที่ยวนั้นจะสื่อสารหาข้อมูลผ่าน เครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์ หรือ Social networks และ ต้องการที่จะได้ข้อมูลในพื้นที่ที่ตนเองเดินทางไป (Local area) โดยอาศัยเครื่องมือสื่อสารแบบพกพาได้ หรือ Mobile devices เช่น โทรศัพท์มือถือ โดยเฉพาะ Smart Phone หรือ Tablets ที่สามารถเข้าหาข้อมูลผ่าน Internet ผ่าน Applications ต่าง ๆ
