    In addition to “sem” and “OpenMx”, the list of R packages should also comprise the “lavaan” package by Yves Rosseel which was recently published in the Journal of Statistical Software (http://www.jstatsoft.org/v48/i02/). Also, for PLS path modeling of SEMs, the “semPLS” package of Armin Monecke and Fritz Leisch may be of interest (http://www.jstatsoft.org/v48/i03/). The CRAN task view on Psychometrics maintained by Patrick Mair (http://CRAN.R-project.org/view=Psychometrics) contains useful further pointers on R packages complementing the R toolbox for SEMs.
